Job Summary: responsibilities include processing timesheets, updating payroll records, and answering employee questions about payments. Ultimately, responsible for ensuring employees are compensated correctly and on time. Position will be responsible for working with a set workload of clients but will be expected to work within the department to ensure completion of entire client payroll demands.

Position also offers monthly productivity bonuses and flexible (unlimited) PTO.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process other financial compensations or deductions including, but not limited to bonuses, garnishments, PTO, and taxes
  • Process benefit expenses like health insurance fees
  • Produce reports for management upon request
  • Answer employee questions or complaints about salaries, payments, and taxes
  • Work with other department members to assist in completion of all client payroll
  • Suggest process improvement and report process errors to department management
  • Works to create a positive and collaborative work environment within the department
  • Ensures proper compliance with federal, state, and local requirements are met with regulations, codes, statutes in terms of employee documentation and payroll
  • Process timesheets for assigned workload of clients to ensure proper and timely completion of payroll
  • Work with clients on receiving complete and accurate attendance reports and timesheets
  • Reviews submitted timesheets for accuracy and ensure all relevant documentation is complete
  • Coordinates with clients any necessary changes to employment statuses of client employees
  • Helps with the onboarding procedures for new employees and new clients to ensure a smooth and swift transition onto the company’s payroll
  • Ensure timely submission to meet ACH transfer deadlines for employee payroll transfers

Job Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of payroll experience (preferred)
  • 1+ years of PrismHR experience (preferred)
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • Extensive knowledge of payroll processes and legal compliance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong sense of task ownership

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
