Payroll Assistant
- Maintaining payroll information by collating, calculating and entering data into ADP Workforce Now
- Track hours for Union employees and confirm local pay rate or prevailing wage rate if necessary
- Distribute weekly checks and organize payroll reports for COO
- Prepare job costing spreadsheet to upload to accounting software Timberline on a weekly basis
- Handle employee payroll discrepancies and answer any payroll questions
- Assist in other payroll duties as requested by payroll manager
- Maintaining all payroll operations according to company policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively within the company
- Knowledge of Microsoft programs including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now and SAGE Timberline software preferred,
- College degree in related business field preferred
