Job description
The Patient Service Specialist will:
- Demonstrate the ability to perform all check in and check out administrative duties to best meet the needs of our patients.
- Consistently demonstrates excellence in customer service.
- Represent Springfield Hospital in a positive helpful manner.
- Commit to acceptable level of availability.
- Be responsible for performing Patient Registration.
- Handle all referrals in a timely and efficient manner.
- Consistently demonstrate behavior that supports the Mission of "Where People Come First."
- Customer Service experience, clerical knowledge, professional telephone skills and computer skills
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Positive attitude, adaptability, ability to multi-task, "can-do" approach.
- Ability to demonstrate "Where people come first."
- Work experience in a health care environment (preferred)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (preferred)
