SUMMARY



Function

Provides oversight for the patient/visitor screening and process.



Scope

Impacts department operations and institutional patient satisfaction programs.



Essential Job Functions

Assists patients, families and visitors with solving hospital-related problems. Identifies system problems that cause customer dissatisfaction and complaints and advocates a plan for improvement. Supervises patient/visitor entry sites and ensures all hospital policies and procedures are followed.

REQUIREMENTS



Education Required

Bachelor's degree.



Education Preferred

Bachelor's degree in foreign language, social science, psychology, human relations or related field.








Experience Required

One year of customer service or related experience. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis.



Experience Preferred

Two years experience in a hospital setting. Verbal fluency in two or more languages (English being one of the languages).








Licensure/Certification Required

None.



Licensure/Certification Preferred

Certification in adult Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid.








Other Required

Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
