Job description
We currently have openings in one of our affiliate Dialysis centers for Patient Care Technicians located in Queens & Brooklyn NY
Patient Care Technicians provides direct patient care for assigned patients under the supervisor of the Registered Nurse. They are responsible for dialysis machine operation and maintenance under the supervision of the Chief Technician.
Physical Demands:
Prolonged, extensive, or considerable standing / walking
Lifts, positions, pushes and/or transfers patients
Occasional reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching
Demonstrates emotional capability to preform position responsibilities
Previous experience as a PCT or in Dialysis helpful but not required.
Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED
Preferred Education: Dialysis training certificate from an accredited program
Must get certified CHT or CCHT within 18 months of your hire
