We are a fully remote organization where our Admin Team and Providers work as a team so our Patients can become the best version of themselves.

Our Patient Care Coordinators are assigned to 1 or 4 teams based on business need and your preference. You will be part of a team that provides excellent customer service using a best-in-class CRM (Customer Relationship Management) System over the telephone.

Patient Care Coordinators assist play a vital role in helping patients feel comfortable when they are enrolling as New Patients. It may take patients years before committing to get the care that will change their life, and our Patient Care Coordinators are there to help them feel comfortable, secure, and confident in their decision.

While Patients can schedule their own visits on our online portal, Patient Care Coordinators are there to support Patients when they have additional questions or concerns. Our Scheduling Team also works hard to ensure that every Patient is scheduled for a follow up appointment after each visit, ensuring that their care continues and is not compromised by delays.

Our Refills Team also plays a vital role in caring for our Patients. They navigate the often challenging insurance coverage and pharmacy issues that may arise for Patients when they need to get their prescriptions refilled. We make sure our Patients receive their medications when they need them, and help them avoid side effects or withdrawals from medications.

Our GoTo Team assists our Providers in managing day-to-day tasks so that they can focus on providing patients with excellent care. We make sure Patient requests are addressed in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

The standard for all Care Team Members is that we always aim for Wow! Service. This means we treat our Patients as we would our family. We provide excellent customer service, work with a sense of urgency, we are reliable, we always engage in proper phone etiquette, and we have great verbal and writing skills. And like family, we always support one another and acknowledge each other for our accomplishments.

As a Patient Care Coordinator you will:

  • Assist with Patient Enrollments
  • Schedule and Confirm Appointments
  • Conduct outbound calls to schedule follow-up appointments
  • Verify Patient benefits information
  • Process Refill Requests
  • Work as a liaison between Patients and Providers (when necessary)
  • Assist supervisors in managing escalated patient concerns

Skills Knowledge and Experience*

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required.
  • One year experience in a customer service role, required
  • Experience resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone, highly desired.
  • Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, medical terminology, preferred.
  • Six months work experience with software applications like Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications
  • Computer keyboarding skills and aptitude
  • Ability or experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to respond professionally when Patients are demonstrating symptoms of depression, anxiety, and stress
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain composure when confronted by difficult situations and to respond professionally.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Must have a home office free from distractions and be available during work hours via Zoom, Chat, phone and other communication methods.

  • Open to working alternative schedules including the weekend on ongoing basis
