Qualifications
Performs various tasks to provide a well-supplied, safe and clean patient unit. Provides nursing personnel with efficient and appropriate assistance with selected unit needs.
The Outpatient Surgery Center (OSC) At Dartmouth Hitchcock is a free standing center located on the DHMC Lebanon campus. The OSC operates eight operating room suites and is dedicated to providing care for adult and pediatric patients requiring same-day surgical procedures. The ultimate goal of the OSC is to provide the right care, in the right place and the right time for our patients who seek our surgical services.
Responsibilities
- Performs various tasks to ensure the unit is well supplied, including ordering and obtaining supplies, re-stocking supplies and linen to the unit, and locating lost equipment.
- Maintains a clean and safe environment by caring for, and cleaning unit equipment, maintaining cleanliness of work areas, and keeping hallways clear of excess equipment.
- Delivers specimens to the laboratory, transports equipment/supplies as needed to and from other departments. Maintains established written communications systems used by the unit.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school graduate.
- Experience working in a hospital preferred
- Valid Driver’s license in good standing
