Come join our Patient Access team based out of Johnson Memorial Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Of New England! We are part of the nationwide Trinity Health family bringing compassionate care to our communities.This position is two days per week in Enfield, CT at our Cardiac Rehab program office, not at the hospital in Stafford Springs.
Resource person for patient registrations/pre-registration processes assigned to the Cardiology offices at the Enfield campus. Processes include obtaining accurate demographic, insurance and patient liability information/collection.

Work Hours/Shift:
This is a 20hr per week part time position requiring two 10hour days, usually Monday and Tuesday with occasional rotation to Wednesday or Thursday (office is closed on Friday). We offer full benefits even for part time!
You Will Be Responsible For :
Exceptional Patient Care : Responsible for the pre-registration, Registration, estimate building and liability collections.
Excellent Communicator : Obtain approvals and payments on site
Strong Educator: Explain insurance and private pay liabilities; appropriately refer patients requiring financial counseling
Technical Familiarity: Accurately enter/update all patient demographic information, including insurance and patient liability; post payments to appropriate screen and complete reconciliation reports
Requirements :
Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurances
Preferred Skills:
Patient access hospital experience strongly preferred
