The Role

General Description – Maintain inventory, purchase, receive orders and issue parts to service technicians involved in air compressor and engine remanufacturing.

Parts Control (100%) – Maintain inventory, purchase, and issue parts to service technicians involved in air compressor and engine remanufacturing. Process returned parts back into inventory or for return to supplier. As relevant, manage counter sales of aftermarket spare parts, assisting walk-in customers.

Facilitate customer inquiries regarding parts, pricing and general parts information.

Maintain a stock of spare parts, ordering parts as needed, comply with stock levels, take advantage of bulk or quantity purchasing on fast moving inventory.

Conduct regular physical counts and spot checks of inventory to check the accuracy of inventory records.

Maintain records of parts used on specific service orders.

Maintain a clean and safe work area by keeping the parts area neat and orderly, performing required housekeeping and updating/reorganization as needed.

Adhere to appropriate methods for caring and storing spare parts.

What we expect of you?

Experience – 1-2 years

Education – High School diploma.

Skills – Must be self-directed and have excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills. Must be highly customer service oriented, trustworthy, and dependable. Must be able to work in warehouse environment and follow safe work practices and accident prevention procedures.
