Monterey & Blackfin Boats is currently recruiting a Customer Service Parts Shipping Coordinator for our warehouse.
The Shipping Coordinator performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipping of equipment, chemicals, and supplies and must be organized and be able to multitask in this fast paced environment. Duties include loading of vehicles, boats, and trucks, handling of materials within the storage facility and to/from loading area and verifying materials against shipping forms. Must write all bill of ladings for anything shipping out of Monterey & Blackfin Boats. Box creation and wrapping larger parts is a large part of the position, must be creative. Has to be able to handle all necessary computer transactions related to shipments. Must be able to communicate effectively with many departments within the organization and the Dealer Network.
This position will be performed in a warehouse setting that is not air conditioned. The environment is subject to dirt, dust and noise that is typical of a warehouse setting.
A suitable candidate will:
- be able to lift boxes and/or equipment weighing up to 100 pounds
- use hand trucks, carrying carts and/or equipment rollers to push and pull boxes and equipment weighing up to 800 pounds
- operate a forklift to move material that cannot be moved by other means
This is a full-time position Monday - Friday from 7am - 3:45pm. Must be willing to work overtime as needed (including Saturdays) to complete daily production requirements. When overtime is required the shift often begins at 6am. Warehouse experience a definite plus.
