PARTNERSHIPS LEAD (DIRECT TO CELL)

SpaceX's global satellite communications system is revolutionizing connectivity as we know it. It provides high throughput, low-latency, path-diverse communications for many users. Some of our customers support individuals in dire need around the world – we are looking to add a Partnerships Lead to ensure these needs are met.

In this role you will work with leadership to achieve sales goals while collaborating with stakeholders across engineering, business, marketing, and regulatory teams. This role demands a strong analytical skill set to drive customer adoption and forecast accurate deployment timelines. Success will require systems thinking, creativity, and excellent communication skills to synthesize information that shapes future products and strategic direction. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with other engineering, regulatory, and business representatives across team boundaries to perform system trades and ensure end-to-end mission success
  • Work with all internal and external stakeholders, using excellent written and verbal communication to negotiate technical deliverables and scope, drive prototype development, and clearly define success objectives
  • Support all phases of development for identifying and establishing the right telecommunication and OEM partners, including researching industry projections
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of project master schedules, global pricing models, roadmaps, customer materials, marketing guidelines, and regularly report updates to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Support customer meetings and follow ups, including specific documentation and contracts

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in technical field (engineering, physics, computer science, or technical discipline) with 3+ years of industry experience
  • 3+ years of technical project management experience

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Engineering degree in a technical field
  • Previous experience in an engineering role
  • Experience with LTE, telecommunications networks, or space networks
  • Experience carrying a revenue quota as an individual contributor
  • Experience with hardware, communications, or networking technologies
  • Experience at an early-stage technology startup that went to scale

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends if needed
  • Must be willing to travel to other SpaceX offices, vendors, and customers as necessary (up to 20% travel)

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Pay range:

Partnerships Lead: $120,000.00 - $155,000.00/per year.

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock, stock options, or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
