The Eden is located 5 minutes south of Fort Wayne in Hoagland. The Eden is a family owned event center hosting weddings, company parties, and non for-profit events. The Eden provides full rental of event space, catering, bar service, and décor installations. We have had a 40% growth within 12 months and looking to establish that growth with onsite and offsite catering services.

The Eden is hiring a PART TIME WEEKEND catering chef to build and grow our family ran catering and event business. The Eden focuses on building a catering service that provide a hearty and refreshing culinary cuisine. We are looking for a creative and ambitious leader who wants to grow with our company.

This is a a hourly WEEKEND ONLY 20-25 position scheduled occasional Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and occasional Sunday. $2500 SIGN ON BONUS!

• Establish and maintain a quality brand of catering service for hosted and off-site catered events.
• Create and price catering menus for all events.
• Provide a positive creative outlook to provide catering services based on event trends.
• Source and order catering goods and supplies from quality vendors.
• Control inventory for a streamlined service.
• Hire, maintain, and schedule staff for all events.
• Ensure kitchen is properly equipped manage and alert venue manager of needed equipment repairs.
• Design culinary displays and services.
• Prepare and execute banquet service
• Ensure a clean and sanitary space.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Dependable personality and work ethic.
• 2 years catering management experience with combined associate degree.
• 5 years catering management experience without education.
• Food Handlers Serve Safe.
• Dedication to grow with a company.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
