The Hudson Valley Renegades, the High-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, are looking for energetic, hardworking people to add to our part-time/seasonal game day staff.
Field Timing Coordinator (FTC)
The Field Timing Coordinator is in charge of operating the pitch clock at the stadium. Must be a quick learner, able to pay attention to the game/umpires signals, and follow direction well. A passion for button pushing is helpful, but not required.
Gameday Stringer
The Gameday Stringer is in charge of entering scoring information into MiLB's Gameday Stringer program. Must must have a strong knowledge of the rules and scoring of baseball, be a quick learner, and able to think quickly and problem solve in a fast paced environment.
Position must report one hour prior to game time and stay up to 30 minutes after the conclusion of the game. Periodically, FTCs will meet with umpires to review rules and signals prior to games. Immediately following each game, the FTC must file a report with MLB (this is a quick process that takes about 2 minutes). Local candidates are preferred.
