Part-time Distributions Assistant, Purchasing/Distribution
Job description
The Distribution Assistant will set up, operate, adjust, and clean department machines. Provide support service for outsourced duplicating services, mail processing, and outgoing expedited delivery. Perform tasks utilizing electronic equipment and computer technology.
Responsibilities and duties primarily correspond to the type and function of the assigned area. Operate mailing machine and similar equipment and performs other tasks as needed. Assist in the daily duplicating outsourcing function. Work is in support of all divisions and departments of the college and performed with limited supervision; reports to the Distribution Associate who is available to resolve problems. Assignments given in the form of verbal or written instructions. Employee has responsibility for keeping the equipment used in operating condition.

Required Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent, valid Ohio Driver's License, clerical record keeping, and basic computer skills are necessary. The ability to lift up to seventy-five pounds, to work in varying temperatures while walking and pushing a cart, and the abilitiy to bend and reach overhead. Candidate must also be able to set up, maintain, and skillfully operate the machines used at the College. Must be able to read and interpret written and oral instructions. Effective communication skills required.
