Duties and Responsibilities:

• Put the customer first at all times

• Be able to resolve customer service issues and escalate as required

• Create and maintain good working relationships with fellow associates

• Efficiently & accurately complete fulfillment of change orders with bank and stores as per needs of the business

• Create, verify and enter deposit information in logs and company systems ensuring compliance with EOD requirements

• Train, coach and provide support to Sales Associates for cash handling and deposit procedures

• Investigate cash variances & report discrepancies in cash, policies & practice to management or LP in a timely manner, making recommendations to improve, where possible

• Audit daily media for accuracy and completeness, reporting discrepancies and recommending solutions to management, where applicable

• Perform weekly cash audits and bag checks in assigned stores

• Maintain work space appearance with respect to housekeeping and maintenance standards

• Efficiently and accurately conduct customer transactions on our POS

• Efficiently and accurately conduct receiving, cycle counts, product returns and transfer transasctions, etc. on our handheld (where applicable)

• May assume key holder responsibilities to open/close store, where required

• Follow company policies and procedures and maintain a safe working environment

• Record and enter commission sales reporting information (where applicable)

Position Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalency required / Bachelor's Degree preferred

• Minimum one year of retail bookkeeper and or sales audit experience required

• Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 day team oriented environment

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively using the English language

• Strong interpersonal / organizational skills with ability to motivate others

• Self-started able to prioritize various tasks and adapt to unexpected situations simultaneously

• Proficiency required in reading, writing, mathematics, cash handling/ reporting

• Computer literacy and working knowledge of MS Office preferred

• Ability to pass the Federal Criminal History Records Check, Paradies Background Check and the applicable Department of Transportation requirements

• Prior supervisory and leadership experience preferred

• Must be computer literate with experience using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications; Computer work, heavy lifting (40lbs) long standing periods, climbing, lifting, bending, nights or weekend work, based in a store or group of stores; early morning, evening and weekend work and holidays

Experience

• 1 year(s): Retail Bookkeeper and/or Sales audit experience
