Job Description Summary
Shawnee State University is seeking highly motivated coaches to assist coaching roles in the following sports:
- M&W Cross Country
- M&W Track and Field
- Women’s Basketball.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
DUTIES
AND
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Assistant Coach will aid in the overall administration of the collegiate athletic program, to include, but not limited to, the following:
- Help with practice and game preparation
- Evaluation of current and potential college athletes
- Recruiting prospective students
- Help coordinate schedules and travel arrangements
- Assist with fund raising goals for the Team & Department
- Assist with the ordering and care of athletic equipment and supplies
- Help monitor student success, progress towards a degree, and maintaining NAIA eligibility standards
