JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State New Kensington has vacant adjunct instructor positions for spring 2023 in various disciplines including Art, Accounting, Business (Business Law, Project Management, Business Management), Biology, Environmental Sciences, Natural Sciences, Biomedical Engineering Technology (BET), Biobehavioral Health, Speech and Communications, Chemistry, Economics, Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Engineering and Engineering Technology, English Composition, French, Human Development and Family Studies, Information Sciences and Technology, Mathematics, Kinesiology and Physical Education, Music, Nutrition, Physics, Psychology, Radiological Sciences, and Spanish.
Duties include teaching undergraduate level courses. Additional duties may vary by assignment.
Master's degree in the discipline for which you are applying (or closely related field) or equivalent education and experience required; one or more of the following preferred: teaching experience, Ph.D.
Remote delivery and instruction methods may be required. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the positions are filled. A teaching demonstration may be required as part of the on-campus interview.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
