Job Description:
Description: The Parking Attendant is responsible for supervising all garage and surface lot activities related to parking in the hospital environment.
Typical Duties:
- Calculates parking rates.
- Ensures amounts of payments received cash disbursed are correct.
- Records and assigns validation accounts to departments accurately.
- Exercises courtesy and tact with patients/visitors.
- Conducts regular site inspections for conditions which need attention such as housekeeping and unsafe hazards.
- Responds immediately to spills.
- Clears stairwells and other where debris collects.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
- 1 plus years of experience in public parking facilities operation or related experience. Required Licensure/Certification:
- Valid Texas Driver’s License.
