ELS is hiring for the position of Park Ranger in Fremont, Wisconsin.
What you'll do:
Interested in creating a memorable experience for others? The Campground Ranger position will include some walking, driving a golf cart, patrolling the grounds of the campground, checking buildings to ensure they are presentable for our guests and are locked and secured.
Being able to interact with guests in a positive and professional manner is crucial. Moreover, customer service is a high priority in creating success at Fremont Jellystone. In addition, we are looking for an individual that can handle any stressful situation in a calm manner and react accordingly with regard to local, state and federal law. Your job will include:

Communicates and fills out daily reports with the Ranger Supervisor and Property Manager.

A focus on customer service and guest interaction in a professional manner.

Monitor the property with a keen eye for any property issues or potential problems.

Ensure that the property is properly secured and safe.

Ensure that guests comply with resort rules, respond to areas of concern and contact law enforcement if necessary.

Monitor all incoming guests through the campground gate and validate if access is acceptable.

Perform routine patrols, golf cart and rental inspections.

Check guests in and out after office hours.

Prioritize guest safety and happiness.

Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Dressing professionally in your assigned company apparel.

Attend staff meetings.

Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Skills & experience you need:
-
Basic reading, writing, math skills and the ability to use computer applications.

Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Ability to assess a situation, use quick and reasonable judgment and resolve problems diplomatically.

Exceptional customer service and communications skills and a friendly demeanor.
-
Experience working in security and/or law enforcement, and/or working in an RV environment, is a benefit.

Valid driver’s license, good driving record and current auto insurance.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays on a regular basis.
