• Hybrid Paralegal

Shamis & Gentile, P.A. is a boutique law firm located in downtown Miami, Florida. We specialize in class action litigation all throughout the United States. We are currently accepting applications for a paralegal to join the team in assisting with pleadings and general litigation support. This position will be a new "created" role with the opportunity to hire a team below as expansion continues. There is ample room for advancement and growth opportunities.

Summary/Objective

The Paralegal ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with the ability to speak up when problems arise and to assist in helping the law firm run execute deadlines in a smooth and calm manner. We value individuals who are fearless, coach-able, and can deliver the desired results. The successful candidate is one who is interested joining a growing law firm with future opportunity to continue to grow and have expanded opportunities.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other technical suites.
• Ability to master the court filing systems (ECF Pacer, Florida state court, other various state courts) and attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate with opposing paralegals and attorneys for scheduling purposes.
• Calendaring scheduling orders.
