Who We Are:

The Yoder Group, Inc. is an established company, who has been based in central Pennsylvania for over 65 years. Our construction services include light commercial, institutional, multi- and single family residential, and the installation of solar arrays. We are looking to expand our existing team with individuals who thrive while working within a fast-paced environment.

Position Summary:

A successful applicant for this position will be dependable, hard-working, and able to follow specific instructions with little supervision in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, the implementation of safety standards on the job site is paramount. Reliable transportation to our main office and promptness is a must!

Key Responsibilities:

• Follows established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe environment.
• Daily performance of general construction duties including (but not limited to) painting.
• Ability to help with light carpentry, flooring, drywall, and plumbing.
• Ability to lift and carry materials weighing over 40 lbs.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and other devices commonly found on construction sites.
• Ability to load and unload company trucks.
• Cleans up job site.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• Valid PA driver's license preferred.
• Must have the ability to pass both a background check and drug screening.
• Must be able to work safely with a wide variety of power and hand tools.
• Must be able to work with other team members.
• Must have the ability to effectively communicate with other team members.
