Omer North America is currently seeking FULL-TIME Paint Technician/Spray Booth Operator. Must have a minimum of three years' in both experience prepping, mixing paint, and paint application through use of spray gun equipment experience. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparing train components; sand and clean and/or check prepped parts to ensure component is ready for paint application.
• Ability to mask/unmask parts as required.
• Solid understanding of how to adjust the flow and viscosity of the paint and controlling the air pressure to the spray gun.
• Strong knowledge of painting materials in a proper protective or cosmetic manner while following process instructions and customer specifications.
• Ability to safely operate spray gun equipment.
• Ensure maintenance and operation of paint shop equipment; Cleans and maintains equipment including paint booth and changing filters.
• Proper use of PPE including respirator or air make-up device at all times.
• Ensures all safety measures are used and compliant with Company policies, State, and Federal laws.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to use a variety of hand tools required
• Knowledge of spray guns required
• Knowledge of solvent based painting required
• Experience in Single Stage Paint preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge with a wide variety of regulatory requirements including hazardous materials, spray equipment standards, fire safety, personal safety, and air quality is required.
• Ability to wear protective equipment including, but not limited to, supplied air hood respirators and protective clothing required
• Manual dexterity, strength, endurance, flexibility, and the ability to see details at close range are required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High School Diploma or GED from accredited institution is required
• Follow all procedures for the use and proper fitting of required respirator systems
• Must follow all safety requirements and guidelines in accordance with the Company Policies and OSHA standards
• Must be physically able to perform all tasks and duties as described throughout this job description as well as sufficient mobility required for a shop floor environment, which may include, but is not limitied to: the ability to bend, stoop, carry heavy objects - up to 70 pounds, kneel, lift, and climbing ladders as required.

License/Certification:
