General Laborer Responsibilities & Daily Duties:

• Load paper on to automatic hand-fed **or **web envelope folding machines and pack the finished product in a team environment.
• Inspect quality of envelopes, labels cartons, reports variances to key personnel and checks current production orders/schedules to determine daily production requirements.
• May be required to do rework on finished product.
• Cleans up work area during and at the end of shift.
• Other duties as assigned/required.

General Laborer Requirements & Qualifications:

• $15.25/hr + shift premium $0.35/hr.
• Progressive pay increases up to $20/hr
• 12 hour shifts - 2 days and 2 nights required : Day shift 7am – 7pm / Night shift 7pm – 7am
• Mandatory Overtime is required for 1-2 days during this busy season
• Opportunity to be promoted to a Machine Adjuster position if adequate mechanical skills are demonstrated after 90 days with the possibility to earn up to $21.65/hr if successful progress is being made based on the requirements for the position.
• The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of relevant work experience in a production environment.
• Quality inspection skills and ability to measure/read a ruler.
• Ability to perform in a high volume work environment with speed and accuracy.
• Basic math, verbal/written communication skills

General Laborer Physical Requirements & Work Environment:-

• Ability to keep up with a high-speed delivery output in a standing position for a full shift.
• Mental alertness to stop equipment when jam occurs.
• Ability to step up/reach overhead/manually feed paper into machine.
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds.
• Manual dexterity required to grasp objects; exposure to arm and wrist fatigue.
• Exposure to noise; must wear hearing protection and safety shoes.
