Breadsmith of Brooklyn is seeking an experienced Packer to join our team to organize and fulfill our daily wholesale businesses. This position requires handling of delicate food items, flexibility, attention to detail, and an excellent work ethic. The ideal candidate will have experience fulfilling orders of artisan bakery items, an exceptional commitment to customer service as well as an understanding of the baking industry.
Hours: 3PM - 2AM
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prior experience in a fast-paced product packing environment, preferable bakery.
⬝ Accurately and efficiently pack breads and pastries in proper packaging
- Double check orders to ensure accuracy
- Communicate any product or order discrepancies to the Packing Supervisor
- Clean and organize the packing room
- Store and organize packaging materials for delivery
