Job description

• Candidate must have excellent interpersonal ability,working in a team setting, communicating with Stake Holders and Vendor contacts and working on different projects at the same time.
• Packaging Materials knowledge (shippers, dividers, labels, closures, glass and PET containers) Microsoft Office software,Adobe Acrobat software (PDF bundling).
• TOPS or CAPE software knowledge.
• SAP and specification development knowledge is a plus.

Additional Information:

Looking for a packaging engineer. Someone who understands technical specifications will be highly preferred as this role consists of working with the project team to deliver technical packaging support through the life cycle of the program. And will develop technical specifications, complete specification workflows for approval, prepare and issue specifications to vendors. This role will also complete packaging Testing Plans to support the Innovation & Brand Change project pipeline, Supplier Onboarding and Conversion packaging quality concerns. Lab experience not required but good to have. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Location: 24440 W 143rd St, Plainfield, IL (Hybrid 3 days onsite and 2 days remote in a week. If there are additional trails or additional activities that requires candidate to be onsite, then the candidate may need to go onsite more than 3 days)

Shift timings: Day shift. 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Education: Prefers a BS in Package Engineering or related Technical Field, with shown knowledge of product commercialization. Alternatively, if the candidate has relevant experience and skill set, manager is willing to consider them in lieu of a bachelor's degree.

Interview: First round zoom interview with hiring manager. Second-round Panel interview with additional managers
