Description:Ojo Caliente is seeking a full time Overnight Resort Cleaner to join our Housekeeping Team. If you are responsible and prefer working overnight, this position is for you!
The Overnight Resort Cleaner will be responsible for the thorough cleaning of the bathhouse, locker rooms, massage rooms and other public areas. This cleaning will be done between overnight, preparing these areas for the guests the next day.
The successful candidate will know the correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces and how to use these chemicals according to OSHA regulations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure that all public areas are cleaned, sanitized and ready for the next days guests, according to established guidelines.
• Clean and thoroughly stock assigned area(s) promptly and according to established procedures, guidelines, and checklists.
• Conduct visual inspection of public area prior to completion following established procedures and checklists.
• Promptly report any maintenance deficiencies observed.
• Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to OSHA regulations and resort requirements.
• Pick up and return keys and 2-way radios at beginning and end of shift; utilize 2-way radios for communication according to established procedures.
• Follow established lost and found procedures, properly logging and storing items and communicating with other departments about lost and found items as needed.

Requirements:

• Resort or hotel housekeeping experience a plus, but not required.
• Ability to drive a golf cart (instruction provided).
• Ability to operate a 2-way radio for communication.
• Ability to read and comprehend labels on chemicals and cleaning products.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Reliability and punctuality are critical.
• Must be able to work flexible schedule to include, weekends, weekdays and holidays.
• Ability to walk or stand and move about the resort (both indoors and outdoors) for eight or more hours per day, sit, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, pull and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds.
• The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures
