Job Description:
Important Details: This is a full-time permanent role on Nights Crew D, which operates 6pm to 6am with some weekends. Pay rate is USD $18.50, Shift Premium maybe included.
About the Role:
The Oven Operator – Nights Crew D role at the Lancaster PA location provides support to the Production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
- Responsible for monitoring process through LD display gauges and checking against checklist and established procedures. Listen for alarms and lasers to detect problems
- Obtaining and delivering samples for testing to the lab every hour per set procedure
- Cleans floor behind oven. Remove empty skids, gathers up all trash and take to dumpster, cleans under and around all kilns
- Ensures good manufacturing procedures by following housekeeping standards
- Ensures efficient and quality production and positive employee relations by complying with all employment policies, rules, regulations, safety procedures, good manufacturing procedures, product protection standards and actively participating in all training requirements
About You:
You’ll fit right in if you have:
- Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written
- Experience in a manufacturing environment – food manufacturing a plus
- The ability to work overtime and weekends
