Come join our diverse team as an outside services coordinator.
The outside service coordinator coordinates, schedules, and places purchase orders for external plating/painting services for processing parts and/or other outside services such as welding, heat treating, etc. Tracks and follows up with external service providers to ensure timely delivery and communicates status of jobs to internal customers. Dispatches drivers for delivery and pick-up of material from outside vendors and may back-up Purchasing for raw material from time to time.
Pay: $20-$24/hour
Location: Lakewood, CO 80401
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm. full-time position.
After fully trained, they would be open to making this a hybrid roll.

JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma, vocational education, or 5 years or more work experience.
- Helpful to have knowledge with the following:
- plating, i.e. anodize (all colors) (Type I, II, III); passivate; chem film; electroless nickel; sulfamate nickel; dry lube; zinc; electro polish; bright dip; chrome; gold; tin.
- paint
- silk screen
- grinding
- heat treat
- welding, wbeam welding, solar braze, braze, soldering
- cleaning, etching, and stripping
- Ability to interpret and understand safety rules, job procedures, purchase requests, purchase orders, drawings, process sheets, and other instructions and documents. Ability to write a routine report.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to enter and retrieve data relevant to job function from computer using company ERP system, Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel, and emails.
- Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret and understand instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form by many internal customers, i.e., Accounting, Engineering, Customer Service and Senior Management of the company. Ability to organize work.
- Push, pull, and reach overhead
- Exert 10 to 25 pounds of force occasionally, and/or
- Exert up to 10 pounds of force regularly to move objects
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, computer screen, and other documents.
- Ability to understand and be understood in communications with others, including on the telephone. Ability to communicate effectively, both in written and oral form. Strong interpersonal skills.
