What will you do?

As an Outside Sales Trainee, you join our Elevate training program and learn about our manufacturing, production, and industrial sales business focused on our local, and regional facilities. Upon completion, you will transition into an outside sales role in the Western territory, selling power transmission components and/or bulk material handling equipment throughout the region. Other focus areas include product training, presentations, and new business development.

Key responsibilities during training:

• Relocate to Arlington, TX for approximately six months to complete a hands-on training program
• Focus on career growth and personal development.
• Travel with other trainees to regional and manufacturing branches as assigned.
• The program will concentrate on instruction and practical application for Martin Products, Manufacturing, Company Operating Systems, Sales, Corporate Functions, and other necessary skills to promote our business.

Key responsibilities upon completion of training:

• Promote and sell our Power Transmission components (sprockets, gears, sheaves, and pulleys) and/or Bulk Material Handling equipment (screw conveyors, bucket elevators, drag conveyors, and conveyor pulleys) to an established distributor base throughout your assigned territory.
• Perform product training and sales presentations.
• Develop new business while maintaining excellent service for current customers.
• Provide technical and non-technical support and services to clients regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of parts and equipment.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor's degree required - Business, Mechanical, Industrial, or Engineering related education is a plus
• 1-2 years of sales/customer service experience
