Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to the following:

• Ensures a safe work environment as outlined by NEW Cooperative’s policies and procedures.
• Heavily assists in the operations and responsibilities of the Dickens agronomy shed.
• Operate custom anhydrous ammonia (NH3) application equipment.
• Maintain operations of the facility:
  • Fill and transport NH3
  • Work with bulk chemicals.
  • Organize seed in sheds, assist with delivery and fulfill customer's orders
  • Assist in setup & maintenance of equipment.
  • Perform standard routine maintenance and repairs to equipment throughout all areas of the location.
  • Unload and load grain from trucks and wagons.
  • Maintain grain quality.
• Deliver products and services to customers.
• Assist in operating fertilizer tender trucks.
• Be cross-trained and available to drive a truck when needed at other locations.
• Knowledgeable and flexible to provide assistance to the other departments, locations, the office, and customer fields.

Job Requirements:

• Must have an acceptable driving record and be insurable to drive.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Class A CDL with endorsements of tanker and hazmat
• Must have or be able to obtain a Commercial Handler’s or Applicator’s License.
• Must provide strong attention to detail.
• Sufficient computer experience, preferred.
• Understand the importance of providing very high levels of customer service.
• Understand the seasonality of the farm supply business and the in – season time commitment.
