Job Description:
The Organizational Excellence Analyst will be a member of the operational finance team. This individual will work closely with both finance and operations to optimize the organization’s performance by working closely with property teams.
Responsibilities:
  • Support Corporate Director, Organizational Excellence with all Organizational Excellence initiatives
  • Partner with property leadership to strategically support and drive the adoption of business and labor management tools
  • Coach and train property leaders on how to interpret and harness analytical data to make data-driven decisions
  • Ability to improve the reporting cycle by producing professional, formal measurement mechanisms in a timely manner
  • Calculate and develop performance standards with respect to revenue, cost, and labor productivity aligned with budgeted guidelines
  • Ability to perform process analysis to qualify and quantify opportunities
  • Drive solutions into the organization that definitively realize financial gains
  • Provide input to Finance leadership on potential sources of optimization
  • Works with property teams to assist with the on-boarding of new property leaders with regards to Labor Management Systems
  • Oversees and assists in the implementation of all Labor Management System applications across the portfolio and support the operations and finance departments
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for labor management related applications and platforms
  • Ability to troubleshoot inquiries quickly and efficiently identify the source of issues to provide a prompt and appropriate solution
  • Work with operational finance to ensure systems are being utilized and maintained properly
  • Assist users with optimizing the use of assigned applications
  • Assist with establishing, formalizing and maintaining standard user procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • 4-Year Bachelor's or Baccalaureate Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Hospitality or Related Field with 2+ years relevant work experience in a similar industry or role
  • Prior experience within large scale business planning, project management, and/or feasibility studies is required
  • Ability to challenge underlying assumptions and status quo to improve current processes, systems, and management behaviors
  • Ability to strategically analyze and define problems, and create innovative solutions
  • Experience leading and a strong passion for change management initiatives
  • Individual must possess sophisticated communication skills (written and verbal) with demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with all layers of the organization
  • Can effectively review, understand, and extract themes from large data sets and perform analytics as needed
  • Experience with Labor Management Systems is considered a strong asset
  • Experience or direct exposure with Asset Management is considered a strong asset
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities and projects
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically, an elevated level of proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
  • Possesses the necessary skills to produce comprehensive forecasting models encapsulating all Key Performance Indicators of the business
  • Prior experience using hospitality specific systems, such as PMS and POS
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, as well as in a managed environment
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Travel up to 50% of the time
