The Organizational Director will supervise the OCY Community Justice Support Centers. Support Centers are operated under contract with the MA Probation Service, Office of Community Corrections (OCC). The Organizational Director works with OCY Senior Management, OCY Treatment Managers, OCC Program Managers, and OCC Regional/Statewide administration to ensure that all Support Centers embody the core values, execute core program elements, and meet or exceed service delivery standards set forth by the OCC.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

PROGRAM/DEPARTMENT RESPSONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages and monitors new and existing OCC contract, programs, and initiatives
  • Supports staff with implementing and delivering evidence-based practices and programming for a justice involved population that reduce recidivism and encourage prosocial behavior change
  • Oversees Support Center budget preparations, monitors purchasing and spending
  • Supervises administrative systems, contract compliance, and compliance with policies and procedures as set forth by the OCC
  • Facilitates hiring of vacant positions, responsible for recruitment and onboarding of staff
  • Monitors, and evaluates personnel training needs and develops and implements in service trainings for center staff
  • Monitors fidelity to evidence-based practices and service delivery
  • Attends necessary trainings as set forth by the OCC • Serves as a backup to administering a fourth-generation risk need tool (ORAS, LSRNR) and delivering manualized cognitive behavioral treatment to Support Center participants
  • Liaisons with clinical supervisors
  • Facilitates collaboration among staff from all Support Centers and works with OCC regional managers, etc. to share best practices

SUPERVISION OF PERSONNEL:

  • Directly supervises the OCY Treatment Managers at all OCY CJSCs

FISCAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adheres to all fiscal policies and procedures such as petty cash, purchase orders, check request vouchers, and employee expense.

FACILITY/HOUSEKEEPING RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains daily upkeep and cleanliness of respective office area.
  • Maintains program equipment (i.e. cell phones, computers, equipment, etc.)

INTERDIVISIONAL/COMMUNITY/VOLUNTEER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Offers support in crisis situations as needed
  • Makes presentations to outside community groups/school, colleges, agencies enhancing collaboration.
  • Develops professional goals through self-evaluation and seeks out opportunities for growth.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

· Education – Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Human Services, Social Work, Education, or related field. Licensure highly preferred

· Mastery of evidence-based practice principles for treatment with a justice involved, high risk population including ability to administer fourth generation risk need instrument, previous training in and ability to deliver manualized CBT curricula, training in employing MI techniques

· Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience, 1 of which was in a supervisory capacity. Experience working in a Community Justice Support Center highly preferred

· Ability to drive car up to 8 hours per day. Travel is expected with these responsibilities.

· Ability to communicate with staff, and collateral resources in person and by phone.

· Daily attendance and scheduling flexibility to include working nights and weekends.

· Ability and experience in using technology to facilitate virtual gatherings

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
