Spherion is partnering with the McKesson warehouse in Clear Lake to fill order picking roles on 1st shift. Their Distribution Center is looking for dynamic and motivated warehouse associates to join the team. HOURS AVAILABLE:
1st: Mon-Friday 7:00A-3:30P OR DONE - OT required
2nd Shift: Sun 4:30P-1:00A Mon-Thurs 5:30P-2:00A OR DONE - OT required
**Note; in order to transition over to full-time status in this role, you would need to transition to 2nd shift**

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- ​Pulling and packing medical, surgical supplies and equipment orders for shipment 
- Working with RF Scanning equipment to maintain records of merchandise shipped, as well as examine, stock and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines  
- Standing and engaging in repetitive movement throughout the entire shift 
- Extensive walking and mandatory overtime as needed is required
- This is not a position where you use a forklift or pallet jack. A typical employee will walk about 10-12 miles per day.
- When not selecting, our associates are preparing shipping containers so they can be used again for the next shift, or the next order.
- A great job for someone that likes to stay busy, doesn't mind a good workout, and wants to learn and grow within a very active company!

SKILLS:
- ​Must be ok with moving throughout the shift.
- ​Ability to lift 20-50#
- Accuracy and ability to know the difference in products and quantities is important.
​- ​Strong reading, addition and subtraction skills needed- Looking for those who have demonstrated recent history of good attendance and punctuality. This is a must for this assignment.
