Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Assistant
Job description
Assistants are responsible for assisting surgeons with the day-to-day running of their respective clinics. This includes assisting in patient assessment, surgery scheduling and developing treatment plans. Assistants also assist in managing finances, ensuring that all policies are followed and that patient outcomes are recorded accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Assist surgeons during operations.
- Prepare operating room for surgery.
- Inform surgeons at all times of patient's medical history and current condition.
- Assist in the administration of anesthesia during surgery.
- Provide assistance to doctors during invasive surgeries.
- Assist with patient recovery post-surgery.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
