Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist Engineering with prototype product (and/or production equipment or process) development, and/or assembly & testing.
- Assist Engineering by processing Task Requests (ETR's) as needed for Product Development work.
- Responsible for machine refurbishment & testing in support of manufacturing.
- Ability to safely work with chemicals using prescribed PPE
- Develop and maintain records and data of engineering studies, test, and drawings, including performing, computation, plot data and preparing graphs.
- Note deviations in performance not anticipated or indicated in the test procedures.
- Assist with writing procedures & work instructions for machines and/or processes.
- Assist with the development of process control plan, PFMEA, flow charts, etc.
- Assist with training production employees on new machines and/or processes as needed.
- Comply with quality systems procedures & documentation as required.
- Performing product, manufacturing or applications and engineering support activities as directed.
- Conducts tests involving electrical or electro-mechanical parts on assigned projects for prototypes, competitor products.
- And other duties as assigned.
