Job description
Pay: $16.84 per hour + $.50 night shift differential.
Shift:
- Nights: 6:00 pm to 6:00 am.
- Week 1: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat.
- Week 2: Sun, Wed, Thurs.
Primary Objective:
Programming, monitoring, and adjusting machines for the various tile processes to ensure a quality product.
Major Functions & Scope:
- Inspecting tile and machines to determine adjustments needed for the tiling process.
- Select finished tile based on shades and quality criteria. (first choice, second choice, waste).
- Restart the selection line when it stops - clear jams, clear boxes, clear labels, and stickers).
- Feed materials onto the selection line (boxes, labels, stickers, glue, wax, pallets).
- Re-select tile following production problems.
- Print tickets for pallets.
- Inspect finished pallets concerning correct labels, codes, and stickers; move pallets off of the line.
- Set up printers according to stacker settings.
- Keep the work area clean and safe, and put tools and supplies in designated storage areas.
Education & Knowledge:
- Good computer and analytical skills are required. CNC, Hydraulics, and Pneumonic knowledge preferred.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
Experience:
- 1-3 years of previous manufacturing/production experience.
Competencies:
- Strong comprehension and analytical abilities.
- Good computer and mathematical skills.
- Organizational skills, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.
- Ability to understand and speak basic English.

- While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
- The associate is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
- The associate may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures.
- The noise level is usually loud.
