BASF's Coatings division develops, produces, and markets a high-quality range of innovative and sustainable automotive OEM and refinish coatings, decorative paints and surface-applied treatments for metal, plastic, and glass substrates for a wide range of industries. We drive and innovate surface solutions!
Our Greenville, Ohio site focuses on delivering the Future of Coatings with Dynamic Team Chemistry.
As an Operator Associate for our Coatings Division, you will be responsible for loading and running reactors, material fill-offs, performing testing samples and troubleshooting in our department. You will work and be a part of a continuously developing team -oriented atmosphere. Operator Associate will start at Level I and be expected to continually advance their skill sets and participate in the team rotation.
Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
During your time as an Operator Associate you will…
- Load and process reactors and perform in-process quality testing.
- Perform in-process testing procedures, as directed.
- Read and understand MPI’s and associated documentation and DCS operation.
- Drive tow motors/fork trucks.
- Maintain assigned inspections and housekeeping duties.
- Participate in safe work practices and use the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) database.
- This position works 8-hour shifts, rotating every four weeks from day to night shifts.

- 1 year of manufacturing/production experience required.
