POSITION SUMMARY

This hybrid role supports the company outside traditional business hours. As part of our 24/7 team, you will be responsible for a variety of operations functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Hold drivers accountable for operating in a safe manner while meeting customer and company expectations.
  • Update Safety Director on OS&D claims of issues that happen after hours.
  • Must utilize knowledge of DOT safety requirements regarding drivers.
  • Effective & efficient communication skills encompassing hand offs, emails, phone calls & follow ups with any departments necessary.
  • Become seamless with each Driver Manager's board.
  • Run and monitor verbal temperature reports - must contact all drivers who have not reported with documentation on all calls.
  • Assist with breakdown issues when applicable.
  • Assist Drivers who come to the front desk outside of traditional business hours.
  • Dispatch out loads that have not been sent to a driver’s tractor.
  • Work on load recoveries outside of regular business hours.
  • Provide log corrections when appropriate.
  • Customer support for afterhours
  • Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; required
  • Associate Degree (Supply Chain, Business Management, or relatable field); preferred

Experience:

  • 2+ years of related experience; required
  • Ability to learn and use proprietary software.

Computer Skills:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Windows.
  • Ability to learn and use proprietary software.

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to tolerate high stress situation.
  • Proactive mindset and strong personal accountability.
  • Strong attention to details and record keeping.
