We are looking for a highly motivated team leader to join our East Peoria operation as full-time Salaried Warehouse Operations Manager in East Peoria, IL.
RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Excellent leadership skills, including the abilities to set goals, motivate and manage conflict
- Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening
- Great interpersonal skills
- Good project management skills, including strong decision-making, problem-solving and strategic planning abilities
- Exceptional time management and organization skills
- In-depth understanding of industry and company best practices for the warehouse
- Familiarity with bookkeeping, inventory control practices and logistics
- Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment
- Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse
- Coordinate’s workflows of material processing to lead their team to productive and high levels of Quality.
- Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management
- Develop 360 communication with associates and peers to accomplish the strategy for an efficient operation.
- Communication skills to train and assist associates with systems updates and data entry of process completion. .
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to be on your feet 8/10 hours
- Demonstrate attention to detail
- Develop 360 communication with peers and all associates
- Mandatory Overtime
- Strong computer skills
- Great written and oral communications skills
