JOB TITLE: Manager, Operations

MONOLITH STUDIOS, INC:
Monolith Studios, Inc is a virtual production company that designs, builds, and manages projects for film, television, streaming, live event, and commercial work.

GENERAL SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for managing day to day operations of the Atlanta office and warehouse. The position will ensure smooth, efficient operations for all staff and help to develop and improve operating procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Ensure the quality and consistency of projects and systems
• Oversee logistics for equipment movement to show site and between depots
• Work with warehouse manager to pull and prep orders
• Oversee and manage all subrentals, transfers, and inventory purchases to resolve equipment shortages
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to aid in employee development
• Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse
• Achieve warehouse operations by forecasting staffing requirements and scheduling expenditures.
• Contribute to creating and recommending strategic plans and reviews to achieve operational objectives.
• Coordinate with finance and management to improve systems in place
• Maintain constant communication with Project Managers, Sales staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations
• Establish, follow, and enforce safety standards and procedures in compliance with a healthy work environment and legal requirements.
• Develop and maintain quality control protocols
• Oversee flow of assets through general maintenance
• Act as point of contact for facility and assist with any facility needs
• Willingness and ability to work long hours based on need.

Required Skills:

• Experience in Audio Visual or film/tv industry
• Minimum 5 year’s experience in operations management
• College degree or in-depth industry and job specific skills acquired from on-the-job training
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Self- motivated and team player
• Proficient in Microsoft office and Flex inventory system preferred
• Available for various work schedules (evenings and weekends)
• Ability to manage frequent and/or unexpected changes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
