Position Overview

As Operations Associate the junior associate will provide outstanding customer service, process transactional tasks, respond to daily inquiries from team members, and provide team leaders with project-based assistance.
We are looking for a detail-oriented operations associate to assist with operational tasks in a fast-changing start-up environment.
This is a high visibility role on a fast-growing team with an opportunity to support and contribute to day-to-day operation of the business.


Responsibilities

  • Support all new initiatives that focus on operational record-keeping and documentation
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide management escalation, prioritize, and execute tasks to balance business needs vs. technical constraints, ensure quality
  • Support projects as needed to build and cultivate relationships with cross-functional teams within the organization
  • Handle vendor proposals and agreements and negotiate with external partners and collaborate with internal tech development teams to ensure that projects meet business requirements
  • Handle ad hoc short-term projects that are often data-intensive and tight deadline
  • Maintain operational record-keeping and weekly meeting deliverables
  • Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to project stakeholders

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Economics, or related field
  • 1-3 years of tangible work experience in an operations or administrative support role
  • Demonstrate priority-driven thinking through excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Skilled in negotiating, influencing others, analytical thinking, supporting team members, and executing and driving deliverable timelines.
  • Intellectual curiosity and strong creative problem-solving skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-growth environment
  • Mission-focused team player

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the fintech lending sector
