Operations & Maintenance Personager – Self Storage Facility

Part time – 15 Hours Per Week

JOB DESCRIPTION:

44 Waynesville Self Storage is the largest self-storage facility close to Fort Leonard Wood, and in all of Pulaski County. The property consists of over Ninety-Thousand square feet of storage space (620 units) spread over 3-phases of self-storage buildings. The property has recent improvements including state of the art Falcon XT electronic security gates, ProVision surveillance cameras, and web-based software, LED lighting, and a new office renovation. Since 2014, we have been actively acquiring and growing in the self-storage market and we are continually searching for ways to provide quality storage service at a great price.

44 Waynesville Self Storage is looking for a part-time Operations & Maintenance Personager in Waynesville, MO. This individual is estimated to work approximately 15 hours per week. The part time Operations & Maintenance Personager is responsible for providing excellent customer service and working with the General Manager to complete daily tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Answer calls from prospective and current tenants, convert inquiries into site visits

· Show property, explain terms and provide information about the facility to prospective tenants

· Sign new lease with prospects who visit the property

· Administrate management software & website (Easy Storage Solutions)

· Collect monthly rental fees when paid by tenants

· Unit preparation, to include inspection, cleaning, and simple maintenance

· Monitor, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic property gates

· Monitor, inspect, troubleshoot, and assist with maintenance of robust camera system

· Assist & perform light to moderate building maintenance & cleaning

· Assist & perform light to moderate grounds maintenance

COMPENSATION: $15 per hour

REQUIREMENTS:

· Must work one weekend shift

· Must work one closing week-day shift

· Must have a reliable vehicle and driver’s license

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Must pass a criminal background check

· High school diploma

· 1+ years of customer service experience

· Strong computer literacy is preferred

· Well-developed oral, written, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to interact with others

· Must have a minimum 1 year plus history with a past employer
