SUMMARY

The Onsite Support Technician will provide knowledge and support to ensure that hardware, network, and software systems are implemented and supported effectively.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Problem diagnosis and repair, with appropriate escalation when required both remotely and on-site at customer locations.

· Thorough documentation of client configuration settings

· Facilitating install of customer or support software & hardware

· Troubleshooting of basic network, connectivity, and server issues

· Support and collaboration within the Service Delivery Team during deployments

· Survey, image computers and test basic functionality.

· Provide installation of desktop and laptop computers and related hardware and software.

· Integrate computers into the network environment.

· Launch/test software applications

· Hardware and software support for Windows environments & devices

· Work directly with Clients during deployments to meet or exceed client satisfaction.

· Provide documented summations of work assignments including client sign off, punch lists and resolution.

Qualifications:

· 2-4 years of experience in hardware and software installation/integration a plus

· Excellent customer service skills, verbal, and written communication skills

· Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems.

· Skilled with organization, decision making and time management.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Must have a valid driver license.

CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE

· Associate Degree with two years of applicable technical work experience, or High School graduate with a minimum of five years applicable technical work experience.

· CompTIA certifications a plus

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Self-starter with exemplary customer service skills to complement proven multitasking abilities. Ability to provide effective support to all levels of the organization.

· Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced technical environment,

· Ability to work fantastically well with technical and nontechnical users.

· Hardware

o Wired and wireless networking, Servers, PCs, and laptops, Smart phones, Thin clients, printers, UPSs, peripherals and VoIP phone Systems.

· Systems, software & applications.

o Windows, Mac, Documentation platforms, Remote support tools, O365/G-Suite, Various backup, and anti-virus products, ConnectWise, VMWare, VPN, servers, routers, switches
