Job Description

At the Beach Tanning Super Store is looking for a maintenance technician for the Oklahoma region. The optimal candidate is a self-starter with excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently while following company standards for safety, trade dress, and conduct. This position is part of a team reporting directly to the Corporate Facilities Manager.

As a Maintenance Technician you are required to perform tasks involved in the upkeep of the retail spaces and equipment within, installation, maintenance, maintaining and repairing of electronic, mechanical and electrical systems on all tanning equipment and trade dress.

Maintenance Technician Duties:

• Preventative maintenance on tanning equipment and trade dress
• Assists in servicing and replacing minor plumbing fixtures
• Minor electrical work on tanning bed light bulb replacement and fuses
• Minor carpentry and repair work using carpentry tools to construct, alter, repair, and/or install walls floors, doors, and locks
• Maintain and make routine repairs to electrically powered equipment and appliances according to instruction from senior technicians, supervisor and/or equipment manuals
• Assists with daily work orders from retail stores
• Maintaining and entering information into computer systems
• Ordering parts as needed
• Perform machine installations/moves
• Miscellaneous building maintenance
• Assists in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment
• Other various tasks/projects as required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Maintenance Technician Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move sizable weights
• Ability to work for long periods of time on feet
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years maintenance experience
• Basic computer skills
• Valid Oklahoma driver’s license
• Previous maintenance experience within tanning industry a plus
• Must be able to pass an employment background screening.
