General Statement of Duties
This is a 260-days (12 month), 8 hours per day position at Chamberlayne Elementary School.
Starting annual salary is $
42,143.61
(Note:
Start date: 7/1/2023.
If employment start date is after 7/1/2023, the salary for the remainder of the 2023/2024 school year will be prorated).
Salary based on FY22-23 rates, as FY 23-24 rates have not yet been approved.
Essential Duties
- Manage Principal's calendar;
- Manage Principal's correspondence & mail;
- Set up interviews for all vacant positions in the school;
- Manage & prepare Discipline packets for Hearing with SSDRO;
- Prepare Discipline letters;
- Back-up and assist all clerical staff;
- Manage FMLA, PREP, Workers' Comp, School Related Leave;
- Substitute Coordinator;
- Maintain Employee files;
- Manage Faculty and Staff absences;
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
A high school graduate or equivalent (business school or some college preferred). Leadership qualities and communication skills are necessary. Ability to use computers in a broad range of applications such as but not limited to the following: Word Processing; Spreadsheet Data Entry and Spreadsheet Design; Database Maintenance; and Internet Search Engines. Should be able to deal effectively with the public.
