This position is temporary based on a short-term need of the business. Option of retention will be discussed at the end of the prescribed period of 1-2 months.

Position available for primary office personnel at construction business storefront. The owners share ownership in two businesses, and there is some overlap with the duties of this position. The primary role will be in facilitating work performed on our customers' homes by way of coordination between the customer and the rest of our staff. Brief description of the job and expectations below.

Job Responsibilities

  • Receive majority of calls, emails, text messages on our business line
  • Receive orders for in-house glass cutting
  • Arrange appointments based on our own availability and the customer's needs
  • Generate quotes and deliver quotes to customer, generally by email
  • Process weekly payroll for all company employees
  • Make bank deposits as needed
  • Provide Quickbooks reports to accountant as needed for state and federal filings such as corporation taxes and sales taxes
  • Manage filing of paperwork both physically and digitally

Skills

  • Computer skills
  • Ability to rapidly prioritize
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Comfortable with customer relations in the event of a concern. Ability to conduct oneself professionally under pressure
  • Construction familiarity such as: general practices, work flow, customer expectations, vendor processes
  • Familiarity with most or all of our management software: Quickbooks, OneDrive, Google Business Suite, Thunderbird, Square
