POSITION:

The Office Flow / Patient Care Coordinator will manage the front desk, answer phones, and greet and assist patients. They will be responsible for patient data collection and entry and oversee patient flow data. They will engage in proactive quality control of all responsibilities. This position requires exceptional abilities at multitasking. It requires attention to detail and high precision data entry. It requires excellent time management skills.

This is NOT a standard front office medical receptionist’s position. Only individuals with a long-term dedication to a challenging professional position should applying. Experience in the medical field/profession is less important than a track record demonstrating employment stability, the highest ethical standards, high analytical abilities, and professional development.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • The PATIENT CARE COORINATOR part of this position will involve greeting patients, answering the phones, scheduling appointments, completing administrative processing, medical and administrative record keeping, working directly with patients, working with hearing technology, and adhering to HIPAA compliance. Importantly, you will coordinate patients and doctors to maximize and ensure the best patient experience and care, and to ensure the most efficient operations of the practice and its ability to carry out its mission- to improve people’s lives through better hearing.
  • The OFFICE FLOW COORDINATOR part of this position will involve highly detailed management of the patient schedule and data tracking. Multiple reports are due at the end of each day, including the tracking of all patients, appointment types, appointment outcomes, insurance benefits, physician referrals, and close-of-business daily packet (financials). These data are analyzed monthly and are central to the success of our business operations.

JOB SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:

  • Track record of long-term employment (unless college graduate)
  • Four-year college degree strongly preferred; some college preferred
  • Must be high school graduate
  • Bilingual is preferred
  • Professional appearance, presence, and attitude
  • Outstanding communication and verbal skills
  • Strong organizational and solid problem-solving skills
  • Front office experience, phone answering skills preferred
  • Computer experience: Microsoft Office, Excel, Mac OS, scanning, email
  • Quick learner; multi-tasking skills
  • Able to adhere to patient confidentiality protocol and state regulations
  • Reliable and consistent
  • Must live within the Las Cruces area

POSITION:

Full time, 8 hour/day

$21.00 to $23.00 to start, depending on experience. Annual merit-based increases.
