Position Summary: Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT)

Leading Pediatric Rehabilitation Group is searching for an Occupational Therapist (OT) in New Port Richey, Fl. Work M-F. No weekends or call. Salary is $70k - $90k depending on experience. 1 year of experience preferred but new grads welcome. Occupational Therapist (OT) must be a highly enthusiastic, professional, compassionate therapist who loves to help people achieve their developmental milestones and goals! Our therapists create a fun and nurturing therapy experience for children to help them achieve the greatest functional potential. Job Duties & Responsibilities: Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT)

• Participate in the development and periodic revision of the plan of care
• Schedules, plans activities and provides rehabilitative services for occupational therapy
• Records type of treatment and patient’s reaction to it on clinical/progress notes, which are written on the day of the visit and incorporated in the patient’s record weekly.
• Maintains adequate records on all patient’s, including summary reports- Utilizes community resources and Agency personnel for proper referral- Selects and administers diagnostic and therapeutic techniques and materials
• Instructs and counsels other health team personnel and family members in methods of assisting patient in improving, correcting, and accepting his/her disabilities
• Attends case conferences as requested
• Participates in staff development activities and in-service education as requested

Education & Experience: Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT)

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an Accredited Program
• Current state license
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to work with others and demonstrate leadership qualities
