POSITION SUMMARY:

The Registered Nurse performs the active nursing process consisting of the functions of assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for patients.

Department: OOU: Outpatient Observation Unit. 38 bed capacity. Observation department that receive admits from the ER. Short-stay unit.

Shift: Full time Mixed (Nights) 7p-7a 36 hours per week

Minimum of 1-2 years acute care population experience preferred

Med Surg experience preferred

Appropriate to patient population and level of care

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent

BSN preferred

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:

Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada
