We are seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner for immediate placement in our Vascon Vascular Access Center, located in the Huntsville Alabama. The ideal candidate will gather pre-treatment patient data, monitors patient and medications during procedures, maintains prescription drug logs, assists clinical team during pre and post procedure activities, and provides consultation and physician extender services under direct supervision of physician as required.

Provides ongoing patient information to the interventionist and clinical team during procedures to deliver vascular access care to the patient including but not limited to cardiac monitoring, Aldrete score, pain status. Monitor patient vitals (HR, BP, 02Sat, EKG) during procedures.

This is a challenging, fast-pace job with Monday to Friday schedule, NO nights and weekend shifts. Access Center hours Monday - Friday, 7 am to 4 pm. Our employees enjoy a great work/life balance and a highly supportive team environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Assist in recovery room patient care following vascular and vascular access procedures

Gather patient clinical information prior to procedures including patient assessments, patient history, and required post procedure assessments, instruction, and follow up

Maintain clear and accurate patient medical records

Consultation and physician extender services under direct supervision of a physician

Communicate with dialysis facilities to monitor post-care as directed by center manager

Maintain up-to-date narcotic drug log

Participate in access center community education programs

Other duties as assigned.
